Dad

Twelve years.

Sometimes, remembering looks like celebrating.

Today, it looked like sharing apple fritters with my children. I hope they always associate apple fritters with their Grandpa Alvin.

    May they celebrate the man through whom they received life. May they celebrate his graduation to heaven. It may be bitter-sweet, but the memory of their grandfather is worthy to be noted with apple fritters.
